Sarah was born 4 Aug 1794:. She died 23 Jul 1835: at 40 years of age. He married Elizabeth Allison Avis 30 Jun 1836: in Jefferson Co, (W)Va. Elizabeth was born about 1798: Md. On 8 Spt 1798, Washington was apprenticed by his father to a blacksmith until 9 Aug 1800 (when he would turn 21). In the 1800 census, Washington is found in Montgomery Co, MD. In 1820, he is in Berkeley Co, (W)Va. By 1830, Washington was in Harper's Ferry. He lived there until the Federal troops destroyed his home, whereupon he moved to Cumberland, MD, to live with his daughter. Washington served in the War of 1812.

In 1830, Benjamin's family was in Jefferson Co, (W)Va. with one slave (possibly Lucy who was bequeathed to Mary by her father).

Henry was living near Hagerstown, Maryland, about 1840, according to Malachi Busey in 1877, who also said he had heard no tidings of Henry since before 1850. In the Federal census of 1850, Henry is found in District 2 of Washington Co., MD, occupied as a shoemaker.

Newman 13 Sep 1827: in Cumberland, Allegany Co, Md.(91) Married in this town Thurs night last by Rev Sigler, John C. Newman, late of Hampshire Co, Va, to Miss Margaret Bucy, of this town. [Sept 15, 1827, Maryland Advocate] On 26 Mar 1834, John C. Newman of Jefferson Co, Va., entered into a deed of trust with Nicholas Koonce on a $60 debt to Joseph L. Russell and David Koonce. Security for the note included: "one clock, a number of books including my whole library, six chairs, one bedstead and bedding, one bureau, one looking glass", etc. John was a schoolteacher. Margaret Newman was living with Priscilla Busey in 1850 in Shepardstown, (W)Va.

child 104 vi. Malachi Busey was born about 1795. He died after Nov 1877:. In 1830, Malachi was living in Connelsville, Fayette Co, PA. In 1840, he was in Licking Co, Ohio. occupied in manufactures and trade. On 13 Nov 1877, he was living in Washington Co, PA.

child 106 viii. Edward Busey was born Md about 1799. He died 1874: in Muskingum Co, Oh, at 75 years of age. Edward was living in Jefferson Co, (W)Va in 1830. He purchased land in Muskingum Co, Ohio, on 21 Dec 1839, and was found on the 1850 and 1860 census in Harrison Twp, Muskingum Co. He was a grocery keeper in 1850 and a farmer in 1860.
